Provence Region Information

Geography of Provence:
Provence wines are produced on the border of the Mediterranean sea, from La Ciotat to Saint Raphael, and from Sanary towards Carnoules and around the Var valley towards Nice.

The main cities of the region are on the border of the sea in what is called Côte d'Azur or French riviera: basically between Marseille and Nice.

The weather is hot in the summer and very cool in the winter, although winter can be cold when you go further away from the sea.
